THE FOUNDERS

Andrew Moore

Andrew is an accomplished speaker, advisor, aspiring author and the co-founder and CEO of Digital Nexus Associates (DNA). Andrews role focuses on providing progressive but actionable advice and guidance to executives and senior business and government leaders who are wrestling with the spectre of “transformation” but are unsure what it means for them and how to make it real.

​Prior to the formation of DNA Andrew was the Chief Transformation Officer at Intel where he led many of the efforts to reshape and transform the company. Andrew has also acted as a strategic transformation advisor to senior leaders at a number of the world’s largest and most prominent global organizations. The goal in doing this was ultimately to forge strategic and symbiotic relationships with these organizations and in doing so raise Intel’s profile and role as a true thought leader in the world of digitization. Leading up to this role Andrew was the Head of Strategy and Chief of Staff for Intel’s Industry Sales Group which preceded his role as the General Manager of Intel’s Global Strategic Accounts.

Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Andrew now splits his time between the UK and the West Coast of the USA. He holds a BEng Hons degree in Engineering from the Napier University of Edinburgh in Scotland.

Jim Henrys

Jim is a recognised thought-leader, panellist, speaker, author of many published articles and co-founder and CEO of Digital Nexus Associates (DNA). He specialises in the creation of vision and supporting strategies needed to drive business transformation with impactful outcomes. With many years’ experience and insight gained in the technology sector he works with, and provides advisory services to, senior executives to envision, plan and architect transformational initiatives.

Prior to the formation of DNA, Jim held a number of leadership positions at Intel Corporation. He served as Chief Strategist, where he led the work to define the companies vision, message and direction on Digital Transformation, up-levelling market perception and asserting boardroom relevance at F100 organizations. Previous to this he served as Worldwide Director of the Enterprise Architecture Practice, where he a led a global team of handpicked CxO’s, working with clients at board level to shape and define their digital strategies. Preceding this Jim set up Intel UK’s consulting services business, leading it from start-up to scale.

Jim has spent the majority of his career working in the technology sector for companies including Intel, Oracle and Micro Focus. He holds a BSc Hons degree in Computing Science from Staffordshire University.

OUR VALUES

Over the last three decades, we, the founders of Digital Nexus Associates, have been in the fortunate and privileged position of having a 'front row seat' to both the machinations and innovations coming out of Silicon Valley. We've seen ideas grow from nascent concepts to advancements that changed the world, often with profound consequences. From the introduction of the commercial internet in the 90s, to Smart Phones, Social Media and Cloud Computing in the 00s, to the rise of the Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics today.

Additionally, and perhaps more importantly, our roles required us to engage globally with both private and public sector leaders, sharing our insights and advising on how best to ride the tide of innovation. This global exposure (for the record, Andrew alone has been around the world 175 times, in miles travelled, over the last 25 years - that's round the globe about once every other month!) has given us a first-hand, and deep, understanding of how those same technologies don't just transform business, but change people's lives.

We think our dual perspective - looking into the technology crystal ball, then witnessing the direct effects globally - sets us apart. This unique world view has also had a direct bearing on the nature and purpose of our business. It is this experience that led us to our core values, as follows:

The decision to set up Digital Nexus Associates (DNA) was inspired by our passion for driving digital business, backed up by a proven track record of providing strategic advice to many of the world's most well known corporations. Over a combined 50+ year career history we have provided help and guidance to C-level executives on technology led business futures, envisioning, and strategic planning, globally.
